Our Sports Bar Associates are tasked with the responsible service of food and beverages (including alcoholic and non-alcoholic products). In addition Sports Bar Associates are responsible for scheduling on our sports simulators, and guiding customers in their experience.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a fun, professional and safe environment for guests.
- Treat co-workers and customers with respect.
- Have an understanding of the game of golf and expert at the golf simulator systems.
- Scheduling bookings on simulators.
- Greeting clients and guiding them to their reserved bays.
- Taking phone calls and replying to emails.
- Mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Be able to multi-task as you will be working alone most of the time.
- Keeping the business area clean and organized.
- Assist with setup and cleanup of events.
- Apply safety procedures in the performance of all duties, in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Smart Serve Responsible Server Training is mandatory and must be completed prior to first shift.
- Previous related experience is preferred but not required
- Golf or indoor golf experience is preferred but not required
- Physical ability to complete moderate lifting
- Sufficient computer/tech knowledge to use cash and booking systems.
Job Type: Full-time (XX hours per week)
Schedule: Morning/Evenings/Weekends. Special Events outside of regular business hours are a possibility.
Work Location: In person at our Kitchener location
Pay: $20/hr
